The quote above is true for 99.9% of us.
A small number of people are born with “talent”…
But, what people assume is “talent”, is usually actually the result of a LOT of FOCUSED, HARD WORK.
These are called – SKILLS.
When you start uploading videos to YouTube, your videos WILL be crappy.
There’s no escaping that fact.
You might not realise this until 6 months later…but that’s okay.
It’s OKAY to make crappy videos.
It’s even NECESSARY.
You can only become GOOD at something…after you’ve persevered through being absolutely crap at it.
For example:
As you consistently work to improve your skills, you’ll become less crap at making videos…
Until one day…you’re mediocre at making videos.
Being able to CONSISTENTLY create mediocre videos is where you want to be…
I know that doesn’t sound super exciting and glorious does it?
Well, here’s the thing:
When you’re able to consistently create videos that are MEDIOCRE, you’re in a position where you can EXPERIMENT and try to make GREAT videos…
But, you can’t make GREAT videos before you can make mediocre ones.
You can’t run before you can walk my young cub…
That’s the game.
This is why you NEED to make as much content as possible!
The more videos you make, the quicker your skills will improve…and the more opportunities you’ll have…
