Here’s why “be yourself” on YouTube is good advice
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”
― Bernard M. Baruch
“Be yourself” is probably the most cliche peace of advice you’ll hear…
But, it’s true.
It’s just not very useful advice to you, until it’s explained a little bit further…
Here’s 3 reasons why you should “be yourself”:
1. You have a unique set of experiences that color your perspective and your content…
2. Creating a fake persona (that is NOTHING like you in real life) will get VERY tiring to keep up…
3. Being yourself allows you to create an audience and community that likes YOU. And, the people that DON’T like YOU, DON’T MATTER.
Hopefully that gives you a lil more clarification.
This wont be a long email as it’s the weekend and that…I might treat myself actually…
The truth is:
I woke up this morning and made music…
I’m actually good at making beats again – which is surprising to me because I haven’t been able to practice everyday as I hoped…
But, I totallyyyyy almost forgot about my daily email cuz!
So short and sweet is the recipe for today.
Anyways, if you want some more insight into how YouTube ACTUALLY works….
And how to grow an audience that PAYS THE BILLS…
So you’re not another CRYING YOUTUBER when demonetization hits…
