YouTube Lessons From Game Of Thrones
Yesterday I basically took Monday off…
Instead of scheduling all my videos for the week and getting my weekly planning session done:
I spent Monday learning about music production.
Here’s why I decided to take Monday easy:
All day, I felt ridiculously sleepy because I stayed up until 5am on Sunday to watch Game Of Thrones.
Game Of Thrones was worth it too…
But, I’m sure my body clock would disagree.
The thing is, Game Of Thrones shares a powerful lesson that you can apply to your life (no spoilers, I wouldn’t do that to you fam):
Things don’t always play out how you expect…
Understanding this simple concept can keep you away from a lot of disappointment.
Keeping this in mind will help you think about different possibilities and alternative plans…

This fact is why you need to experiment and try things, then double down on what WORKS.
For example, I started my YouTube channel to promote my music…
After years of testing and figuring out what actually works on YouTube…and creating a full-time income online…I’m getting back into music again.
It’s been an interesting and unexpected journey…
The freedom I now have, from building an online business that runs on auto-pilot, is amazing.
But, I didn’t succeed overnight…
It took me over 7 years of grinding and refining to get to this point where I can wake up and decide that I’m taking the day off to study music production.
The point is, this freedom is available to you too, but it comes at a cost.
If you’re not willing to consistently learn, plan and EXECUTE on your plans…you won’t get anywhere anytime soon.
However, if you’re a go-getter, like me, that will stop at NOTHING to reclaim your freedom and do something you LOVE for a living – then you have a chance to win.
