Is Jay Cartere a scammer? – Here’s why you should block people that can’t spell…

Here’s a story:

This morning I woke up, went to check my YouTube comments and I saw something annoying…

A gentleman decide to comment on 2 of my videos claiming I am a scam artist.

This guy hasn’t bought ANYTHING from me.

I couldn’t have scammed him even if I was a sneaky son of a gun that really wanted to.

And his comment was a WALL OF TEXT with many spelling mistakes.

Trust me when I say this:

If someone cannot be bothered to format their message into paragraphs and spell check before sending it to you, they are NOT worth listening or replying to.

In my experience, people that do this are ALWAYS the WORST.

I blocked the guy and all his future comments immediately…

I don’t allow any negativity or lies to prosper in my comments section.

And I have learned the HARD way: you are WASTING your time if you argue with people online.

Focus on the people that like and LOVE you, don’t try to win over those that don’t.

So here I am, turning this sad hateful dude’s comments into some educational (and stupidly entertaining) content for YOU.

Because YOU matter.

I’m going to walk through the main claims this guy made and you can decide for yourself if you think I am a scammer or not.

Ready?

Let’s do it:

1. He said my book ” A Gamer’s Guide To Greatness” is a self-help book and a scam, with no money –  back guarantee.

It always amazes me when people make bold claims but can’t even be bothered to do 2 minutes of research…

A Gamer’s Guide To Greatness is NOT a self-help book – although the title makes it sound like one, I must admit.

(I will actually be changing the name and relaunching the book at some point this year…)

Here’s the thing:

This is an EDUCATIONAL book that walks you, step-by-step, through the complete system I use to bring in over 412,084 views a month, 10,267 subscribers a year and a FULL-TIME INCOME with my gaming channel.

There is ONE chapter within the book dedicated to mindset.

This was not done to fluff the book up or waste people’s time with useless information. This chapter is NEEDED to help you start to think like a successful YouTuber.

The rest of the book is stone-cold tactics and strategies…

Also, if the dude had spent 30 seconds on my website, he would have seen that there is a 30 day money back guarantee included with the book…

2. He said my book was a “get rich quick” scheme and it was ghostwritten.

Already, this guy has proven that he has no credibility, he can’t be bothered to do any research and he is comfortable making baseless claims.

My book will NOT teach you how to get rich quick.

The goal of the book is to help you go from your 9-5 to making money doing what you enjoy…

NOT to buy a mansion and sit around a pool with models…

And if you aren’t willing to put in the WORK and dedicate TIME to this, you won’t be successful (unless you’re REALLY lucky).

But if you want to be able to make the same amount of money you do at your 9-5 by running your YouTube channel INSTEAD – the book is for you.

On the book sales page it clearly says:

“This book is NOT for you if: You want to get rich quick using YouTube.”

But if this guy has trouble reading, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Also:

I wrote the damn book myself!

I don’t think there’s anything BAD with having a ghostwriter as long as you check the book and make sure it’s high quality etc.

But this is NOT the case here. This is my SECOND book written all by little ‘ol me, from my bedroom in a damn robe!

I spent MONTHS pouring my knowledge into the book because I KNEW it was going to help people shorten the time it takes them to go full-time on YouTube and ENJOY their life everyday.

There are some people who:

– Find a niche

– Hire someone cheaply to write a book in the niche

– Sell the book for cheap on Amazon so they can claim to be a “bestseller” (they’re usually only a bestseller in their specific niche – NOT on the WHOLE of amazon as it may be portrayed)

I am not one of these people. I spend AGES in product development making sure that I am providing the most value possible…

3. He claimed that views don’t matter and subscribers are the key to long term channel growth.

I say this all the time:

Don’t take advice from people who have NO RESULTS or EXPERIENCE.

These people just copy the things they heard from others.

They don’t KNOW what works because they haven’t actually DONE anything.

I bet you this guy hasn’t even uploaded 100 videos to YouTube.

I bet he doesn’t have at least 1,000 subscribers yet.

However, I didn’t check because I blocked him ASAP, of course…

The point is:

This is the kind of thing someone with little to NO experience on YouTube would say.

Remember, this is 2019, your subscribers are NOT SHOWN every video you upload…

Creating videos that RANK HIGHLY and building an EMAIL LIST is the key to long term success…

And you CAN’T get subscribers without any views – it doesn’t work like that!

So the next time you have someone in your comment section saying terrible things and telling lies about you:

Remember that person is a dumbass that shouldn’t be taken seriously and BLOCK them.

Maybe you can turn it into content like I’ve just done with this email!
