How to stop getting ignored by bigger YouTubers
An email flew in the other day:
In the email, a gentleman asked me what my YouTube channel link was…
Instead of using google…
Searching my name on YouTube….
Or simply using ANY common sense…
And, it get’s WORSE:
The email the dude was replying to…had a link to one of my YouTube videos…
Wow!
It always amazes me when people are this lazy (and stupid).
And, I will always ignore these types of people…
Because I know I can’t help you if you aren’t willing to help yourself.
If you’re so lazy that you can’t be bothered to google the answers to your questions…I’m not going to let you STEAL my time and knowledge instead…
If you want help, a mentor, whatever…this is NOT the way to go.
My time is valuable as fxck, so treat it accordingly.
Follow these rules when trying to ask me for help:
- Don’t waste both our times with crappy questions that can be answered by google or in one of the (over 120) videos on my YouTube channel…
- Before you ask me for something…bring something to the table – offer some value. (What have YOU done for ME lately?)
- Better yet, make sure you’re a customer before you even think about asking me for favours…
- And don’t be one of those pricks that slides in my DMs and asks me for advice…without even following me (ew).
If you break any of the rules above…you will be ignored and probably blocked.
Is this unfair?
You might think so if you’re a competitive complainer…
But, trust me, NO-ONE is going to pressure me into working with people I don’t like, can’t help or don’t want to work with.
I only work with go-getters…
People who know where they want to be and are willing to WORK like CRAZY to achieve it…
If this YouTube thing is a hobby for you:
Watch my free videos (i upload at least 3 a week, you can ask questions in the comments).
Read my free emails (i drop gems like they’re going out of style, you can reply to these emails too).
And, follow me on my socials where I share a bunch of knowledge.
But don’t you dare try to hijack my time and ask me to do stuff for you for free.
I don’t want to work with hobbyists and I definitely won’t work for free in THIS economy lmao!
This shxt aint my hobby…
I mean, it kind of is because I actually enjoy it…but my point is:
It’s my WORK.
My BUSINESS.
My PURPOSE.
So before you tap tap your greasy fingers on your keyboard and ask me for a link to my YouTube channel, learn how to use google first…
Respect my time, as I always respect yours.
But, if you’re a go-getting, hard-working, business-minded son of a gun…
